Requirements for the Preliminary stage and the department : (139 Units) .

The Department of Zoology aspires to achieve a distinguished position among zoology departments in faculties of science, aiming to become a leading department and a center of excellence in education, scientific research, and community service

The department is committed to preparing graduates with a high level of knowledge and skills in theoretical, scientific, and applied aspects of various fields of zoology, in order to meet the labor market's need for qualified professional cadres. The department is also dedicated to training competent researchers capable of innovation and creativity.

1. Preparing specialists well-versed in the fundamentals of zoology, both theoretically and practically, in addition to teaching general zoology courses for students of other departments within the faculty and some other faculties in the university. 2. Conducting scientific research and keeping pace with scientific developments within the faculty. 3. Contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge through organizing conferences and scientific seminars. 4. Establishing advanced research cadres capable of keeping up with the rapid development in various branches of zoology. 5. Adopting a continuous improvement approach for academic programs to ensure the ongoing enhancement of graduates' competence.

High school diploma with a minimum GPA of 75%, passing the personal interview, passing written tests if any, submitting all required documents within specified deadlines.
