The Department of Ceramics aims to equip students with fundamental principles, specialized skills, and the capacity for innovative thinking in designing and producing ceramic products—both artistic and functional—characterized by aesthetic quality. Through its curriculum, students develop cognitive and practical skills by studying the essential components of ceramic objects according to their intended use, including raw materials for the body and surface glazing, ensuring compatibility between them. The program also emphasizes design elements and fosters a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between functional and aesthetic requirements in ceramic products.
