Department of Accounting
The department seeks to advance the accounting profession, keep pace with technical and technological developments in this important filed, create a scientific environment for the development of scientific research in the field of accounting, and provide the labor market with scientifically and practically qualified cadres capable, with the competence of department's professors and students, of competing with their counterparts in the accounting filed. Since its establishment, the department has made great efforts to achieve its goals in education, training, and accounting consulting, and it continues to do its utmost in this filed. The department has continuously contributed to all available fields to meet the needs of the local and national labor market. The department, in the college's four branches, awards a bachelor's degree after four years of study (eight closed semesters), and specialization begins after the first year (beginning of the third semester).
The program derives its values from the noble values of the Islamic faith, namely justice and the fulfillment of rights at work, teamwork, innovation and continuous improvement, competitiveness in education, and commitment to standards of excellence and leadership.
