The Department of Finance and Banking was established in 2010 as part of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Derna. Its foundation aimed to meet the labor market’s need for specialized professionals in finance, banking, and investment. We are constantly striving to equip students with skills and knowledge that align with the latest trends and requirements of higher education. Our goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice by utilizing modern teaching technologies and organizing field visits to branches and departments of commercial banks.
