1. To understand the medically important disease-causing microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses,... and fungi.
2. To develop the ability to analyze laboratory results and correlate them with different stages of diseases.
3. To train students on bacterial culture techniques and study the effects of antibiotics.
4. To acquire skills related to the mechanisms of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of various infectious diseases.
